All Little Art Lab sessions are thoughtfully planned by a qualified a teacher and we aim to support children’s development in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) for younger learners and the National Curriculum for Art & Design for school-aged children.
For our youngest artists, activities naturally build skills in fine motor development, communication and language, personal, social and emotional development, and expressive arts and design - all key areas within the EYFS Framework.
For older children, our projects introduce and develop essential artistic skills such as drawing, painting, sculpture, experimenting with materials, and creative problem-solving, which directly reflect the aims of the National Curriculum. We also explore artists, styles and techniques, encouraging children to talk about their ideas and reflect on their work just like they would in school.
Every session is fun, hands-on and age-appropriate, but also rooted in educational value, giving parents confidence that their child is learning while they create.
